Among many jewelry materials available, 925 sterling silver stands out for its graceful, elegant appearance and outstanding compatibility. However, even with the highest quality materials, proper care is essential to ensure these jewels retain their original luster and extend their lifespan. 

925 sterling silver means 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals. This compositions give a superior hardness and higher durability than pure silver. 

How to take care of your Line Jewelry

1. Avoid Humidity, prolonged sunlight or contact with chemicals

Humid environments and chemicals may cause silver items to discolor and tarnish. Avoid contact with sweat, perfume, bleach, hot springs, exhaust from burning coal, acid rain and any other chemicals. When not wearing your Line Jewelry, we strongly suggest to store it in a separated sealed bag, place in a cool and dry place and do not mix together with other jewelries.  

Please be aware that our Line Jewelry giftbox is not considered as a sealed bag, it is therefore not suitable for long-term storage as the jewelry will discolor over time in contact with air. 

2. Regular Cleaning

Oxidizing and discoloring of silver jewelry is normal. It is impossible to completely prevent, but regular cleaning can effectively remove oxidants from the surface of 925 silver, maintaining its natural luster and restoring its original shine. Common methods include using silver polishing cloths, silver polish cream, and silver cleaner which utilizes redox reactions. Polish your silver jewelry with care to prevent scratches or damages.

潮濕的環境和化學物質可能會導致銀製品變色和失去光澤。避免接觸汗水、香水、漂白水、溫泉、燃煤廢氣、酸雨或任何其他化學物質。當我們不佩戴珠寶時，我們強烈建議將其存放在單獨的密封袋中，共放置在陰涼乾燥的地方，並且不要與其他珠寶混在一起。

請注意，我們的 Line Jewelry 禮盒不被視為密封袋，因此不適合長期存放珠寶，珠寶有可能隨著時間和與空氣的接觸而褪色。


2.定期清潔護理

銀飾隨著時間而氧化變色屬正常現象﹐但定期清潔可以有效去除925純銀表面的氧化物質﹐保持其自然光澤或恢復其原始光澤。常見的方法包括使用擦銀布、擦銀膏和擦銀劑。為防止損壞你的銀飾﹐使用以上產品時請輕力拭擦。
